GreenStar homes are designed and built with tight ducts, better windows, and improved construction to be 15% more energy efficient than the California Title 24 energy code. They may include third party inspections of energy features and diagnostics of the HVAC system as the homes are built. Other program elements can be added such as jobsite recycling and water conservation. All GreenStar homes meet Energy Star requirements.
